Privacy policy
This privacy policy sets out and informs visitors and customers (potential and actual), hereinafter referred to as "visitors", of the manner in which the Great Food group, comprising the Great Food companies, hereinafter referred to as "Great Food", uses and protects the information transmitted to it and, more particularly but without being exclusive, when the visitor visits the website: http://www.great.be/, hereinafter referred to as the "site", or when the visitor uses the services and products offered by Great Food.
This privacy policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by Great Food, in particular in order to comply with any changes in legislation, regulations, case law or technology. In such a case, the date of the update will be clearly identified at the top of the present policy. These modifications are binding on the visitor as soon as they are put online. Visitors are therefore invited to consult this privacy policy and the rules governing the use of cookies on a regular basis in order to take note of any changes.
1. Personal data
In general, it is possible to visit the site without communicating any personal information. In any case, the visitor is under no obligation to transmit any information to Great Food.
However, in certain situations where information is not provided, it is possible that the visitor may not be able to benefit from the services requested. In order for the visitor to benefit from the services offered by Great Food, the latter may, in certain cases, ask you to provide your surname(s), first name(s), address(es) (e-mail and postal address), hereinafter referred to as "personal information". By transmitting this information, the visitor expressly accepts that it be processed by Great Food, for the purposes indicated in point 2 below and for the purposes indicated at the time of each request.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of April 14, 2016, Great Food informs you of the following:

The data controller ensures the accuracy and relevance of the personal data collected and processed. In addition to the above, he/she ensures that it complies with applicable regulations and with this privacy policy.
2. Collected data
Great Food collects the following personal data:
- language, surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address, landline and/or cell phone number(s),
- date and place of the event concerned by the services,
- bank account and VAT number,
- Internet browser used, browsing mode (PC or mobile).
In the case of a private event organized by Great Food, the first and last names of participants are also collected.
3. Purpose of processing
Great Food may process personal information submitted for the following purposes:
provide the information or services requested by the visitor (by presence on the operating sites, by e-mail, by telephone or by post) and adapted to the visitor, and more particularly :
- the processing and follow-up of price and/or information requests made to Great Food ;
- presentation of the services offered and provided by Great Food ;
- statistics on visits to the Great Food website;
collect information enabling Great Food to improve the site, products and services (in particular by means of cookies);
enable visitors to access Great Food services in the best possible conditions;
provide visitors with the best possible access to Great Food facilities;
perform the contractual obligations agreed between the visitor and Great Food ;
manage contracts concluded between the visitor and Great Food with regard to its legal and contractual obligations.
4. Recipients
Only Great Food is the recipient of the personal information provided.
This information, whether in individual or anonymized form, is never passed on to a third party, with the exception of subcontractors, external service providers or partners called upon by Great Food in the context of its legal or contractual obligations or in the context of fulfilling its corporate purpose, with a view to ensuring a complete and adequate service to the visitor and/or customer.
Neither Great Food nor any of its subcontractors, external service providers or partners market the personal data of customers of the site and Great Food.
5. Shelf life
Great Food keeps personal information only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as described above. In any event, unless another retention period is imposed by a legal or contractual obligation, data retention will not exceed 10 years.

Data access and communication rights
The visitor has the right to access and consult the personal data concerning him or her, kept by Great Food. The visitor may also find out how Great Food has obtained this information and to whom it has been disclosed.
In view of Great Food's obligation of security and confidentiality in the processing of personal data, the visitor's request for access and consultation of data will be processed subject to proof of identity, in particular by producing an electronic or paper copy (accompanied by a signature) of his/her identity card during the period of validity thereof. In all cases, the request is free of charge for the visitor. Great Food may, however, object to manifestly abusive requests (by their number or their repetitive or systematic nature, for example).
Right to rectify data
The European regulation allows visitors to request the rectification, updating or deletion of data concerning them that may be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete.
Right to object
The visitor has the right to object to the processing of data in the following two situations:
when the exercise of this right is based on legitimate grounds or when the exercise of this right aims to prevent the data collected from being used for commercial prospecting purposes.
Right to erasure
The visitor has the right to request and obtain the deletion of data concerning him or her held by Great Food. Great Food will comply with the visitor's request if :
- personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected;
- the data processing was based exclusively on the visitor's consent and the visitor withdraws his consent;
- the visitor objects, for well-founded reasons, to the processing.
In any event, Great Food may refuse a request for deletion if the request is necessary for the exercise or defense of legal rights or to comply with a legal or contractual obligation on the part of Great Food.
Right to data portability
The visitor may request that his or her personal data be transmitted to a data controller identical to Great Food. The visitor may therefore ask Great Food to transmit the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

The aforementioned rights may be exercised by sending a letter to the Great Food address or by sending an e-mail to the following address: info@great.be.
7. Response times
Great Food will comply with the visitor's request by replying in the same way as the visitor exercised his/her right. Great Food undertakes to respond to any request for access, rectification or opposition, deletion or any other additional request for information within a reasonable time and in any event within a maximum of 1 month from receipt of your request.
Depending on the complexity of the request, the response time may be extended to 3 months in accordance with the applicable European regulation.
8. Persons authorized to consult personal data
Only Great Food staff and managers are authorized to consult personal data, with the exception of the application of point 4 above. These persons have a reasonable need for the data due to the tasks and missions entrusted to them or to the necessities of Great Food's business.
9. Authorized service providers and transfers to countries outside the European Union
Great Food also informs visitors that it has recourse to authorized service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data communicated. These service providers are located within the European Union.
Great Food has previously ensured that the service providers have implemented adequate safeguards and comply with strict conditions regarding confidentiality, usage and data protection.
10. Complaint to the competent authority
Great Food hopes that any difficulties arising from the processing of personal data will be resolved through dialogue. However, if this is not possible, the visitor has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. The Data Protection Authority is located at Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, and can be contacted by telephone on +32 2 274 48 00 or by e-mail at contact@apd-gba.be.
2. Cookie policy
When connecting to the Great Food website for the first time, visitors are informed that information relating to their browsing may be stored in files known as "cookies".
A cookie is an invisible piece of information stored by a website in the computer's Internet browser. This cookie can be retrieved during a subsequent visit to the same site.
